As a Security Officer Security Screening in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, monitor visitor and employee activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this visible role, you will provide strong customer service, use teamwork and communication, and bring integrity to each interaction while helping to deter incidents through a reliable and attentive presence.

Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor access according to post procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including production, warehouse, parking, and common areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
