Mission: Quantum is seeking a Task Order Manager / Systems Integration Engineer to provide program management leadership and technical integration expertise in support of complex Department of Defense (DoD) information systems and mission support programs. This position is responsible for task order execution, customer engagement, requirements development, stakeholder coordination, and collaboration among operational users, engineering teams, and government representatives. Responsibilities:
- Task Order Management Responsibilities
- Serve as the contractor's Task Order Project Director.
- Act as the primary interface between the company and Government representatives, including customer leadership and oversight personnel.
- Manage all aspects of task order execution under the direction of the Program Manager.
- Provide first-line management and leadership for personnel assigned to the task order.
- Ensure task order objectives, technical requirements, deliverables, milestones, and schedules are executed successfully.
- Monitor task order performance, budget execution, staffing levels, and resource utilization.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate efforts across all branches.
- Develop and present status reports, technical briefings, metrics, and executive summaries.
- Support workforce planning, employee development, performance reviews, and mentoring activities.
- Systems Integration Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical advisor supporting mission-critical operational systems.
- Facilitate requirements development, analysis, prioritization, and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, operational users, and technical teams to support system enhancements and capability improvements.
- Translate user needs into technical requirements and implementation strategies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify capability gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support technical teams by providing operational context and mission understanding.
- Participate in system testing, validation, demonstrations, and operational assessments.
- Represent the organization during customer meetings, working groups, and technical exchanges.
- Provide technical guidance during system integration and deployment activities.
- Governance and Stakeholder Leadership
- Facilitate collaboration among government organizations, mission partners, technical teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional working groups and integrated project teams.
- Ensure stakeholder requirements are effectively captured, evaluated, and incorporated into program activities.
- Support strategic planning, coordination, and decision-making forums.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years supporting Department of Defense programs.
- Extensive experience supporting Department of Defense command, control, communications, information systems, or related mission systems.
- Experience integrating complex operational capabilities into enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated success managing technical programs, projects, or task orders in a DoD environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of - Analytics and providing findings in presentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing DoD technical programs, projects, or task orders.
- Strong leadership, customer engagement, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements management, and systems integration processes.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, working groups, and executive briefings.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
