Job Description




As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Secret Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support security-related operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while working in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access control concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations through established site protocols.
  • Support security-related operations involving sensitive materials, restricted areas, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or verifiable armed security experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
