Overview

Serves as the strategic channel owner for organic social strategy, execution and optimization of differentiated multimedia content across various social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Reddit. Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to improve content performance and donor engagement. Serves as a strategic resource for the broader Digital Team, providing advanced troubleshooting support and strategic guidance for high-priority digital campaign activity when needed.

    Serves as the subject matter expert and channel owner for organic social media tactics, providing strategic guidance, troubleshooting, and support
  • Leads the development, execution, and optimization of a differentiated content strategy across social media platforms to reinforce organizational mission and brand voice
  • Creates reporting and provides insights and recommendations to improve content performance and donor engagement
  • Identifies emerging social media trends and recommends innovative strategies to enhance online engagement
  • Monitors and responds to donor feedback and reviews across social platforms and third-party sites, escalating issues in partnership with Customer Care and operations teams as needed
  • Engages with donors, partners, and local businesses through public-facing comments and direct messaging to strengthen brand trust
  • Oversees blog strategy and content development, creating educational and inspirational materials aligned with SEO and audience engagement goals.
  • Manages content strategy for organizational programs, amplifying mission-driven story-telling by highlighting donor and patient experiences
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other Digital Marketing team members to ensure consistency in execution and adherence to best practices.


Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and three (3) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of social media content creation (video editing, content creation tools) and community management
  • Ability to manage projects effectively with strong organizational and time management skills, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines and stay on top of social trends in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines and stay current with social trends in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in publishing tools, such as Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Ability to commute with personal transportation and travel as needed
  • Bilingual (Spanish) language proficiency, both written and spoken preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
