We are looking for Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Human Resources Team at Vaisala in our Louisville, Colorado office. This is an on-site position.

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for developing strategy and executing it to hire top talent. You'll collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process and apply innovation to differentiate Vaisala from the competition.

What's your role?

You will be part of our Human Resources team of talented professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to influence the hiring of extraordinary talents joining our company. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with leaders across the world. You will report to the Human Resources Director Americas.



  • Partner with hiring managers to guide and support them during their recruitment process, determining the qualification criteria for each position
  • Deliver coaching and/or training to hiring managers to enhance the selection process, including assessments
  • Execute on tactical recruitment marketing and long-term employer branding activities
  • Utilize direct sourcing methods to attract and engage with high-quality candidates to ensure a world-class candidate experience
  • Conduct phone screens and/or participate in candidate interviews during various hiring stages including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Participate in activities related to student collaboration and trainee programs
  • Develop effective relationships with key recruitment agencies and vendors and ensure cost management
  • Ensure effective tracking, monitoring and analysis of key recruiting metrics, ensuring highest data quality is captured in all systems and regular analytics are shared with business lines to inform data driven decisions
  • Deliver strong performance on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Talent Acquisition function and partner with the business to drive continuous improvements
  • Participate in talent acquisition development projects related to systems / tools and processes; piloting, testing and scaling new ways of workings within region to ensure business engagement



Skills and Knowledge:



  • Desire to understand the business areas and link recruitment activities directly to business strategies, products, services, and culture
  • Experience with HR databases, recruitment systems (preferably SuccessFactors)
  • Highly resourceful, self-driven with the ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Self-Starter that thrives with minimal supervision in a changing environment
  • Must be decisive, follow-through, work with a sense of urgency and be results-oriented with the ability to balance other business needs
  • Ability to establish trust & credibility and support the organization's priorities working in a collaborative team-based environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, superior presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels with demonstrated competence with passive sourcing using LinkedIn
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset to explore, learn, and apply AI tools in your daily work. We expect everyone at Vaisala to actively discover how AI can enhance their work
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%



What will you bring?



  • 3-5 years talent acquisition experience
  • Experience recruiting for technical and other hard-to-fill roles
  • 2-3 years working with a global technology company
  • Lean six sigma experience preferred



Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, prefer MBA



ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $95,000 base salary with an annual STI bonus plan (on top of base compensation).Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
