Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role supports warehouse and distribution operations by ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, transporting return materials, and assisting with inventory and warehouse activities as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, customer-oriented, and committed to delivering a positive customer experience.

Job Responsibilities



  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and according to established schedules and routes.
  • Load, transport, and unload products while following safe material handling procedures.
  • Verify delivery orders and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during all customer interactions.
  • Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and service opportunities to internal team members.
  • Transport customer returns and other materials from customer locations back to the warehouse as needed.
  • Assist warehouse personnel with order preparation, packing, staging, and sorting products for delivery routes.
  • Support inventory replenishment and restocking activities when required.
  • Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Obtain and maintain customer-specific safety certifications as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Clean driving record with no DUI convictions within the past three years.
  • No more than two moving violations within the past three years.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
  • Ability to follow established routes, schedules, and procedures.


Education



  • High School Diploma or GED required.


Work Experience



  • Previous delivery driving, warehouse, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience operating delivery vehicles and handling customer deliveries preferred.
  • Experience working in warehouse or distribution environments preferred.


Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)



  • Frequent driving throughout assigned delivery areas.
  • Regular lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of products.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling activities.
  • May require customer-specific safety training or certifications.
  • Work is performed in warehouse, distribution, and customer site environments.
