What is the role about?

This role will be based in Ridgefield, WA/Woodland, WA.

Field Instruments & Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc., is seeking a Service Coordinator to join their team in Ridgefield, WA. This role will be responsible for effectively managing incoming service requests, coordinate technicians in the field, and serve as the communication hub between customers and technical staff. This position also acts as a liaison between the manufacturers that we are partnered with regarding all service-related activities. The service coordinator will operate in various software portals and ensuring tasks, objectives, and opportunities do not get missed.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails and vendor requests for service related activities
  • Schedule and dispatch field service technicians based on priority, scheduling and skill set
  • Quoting service jobs within given parameters
  • Communicate job details and requirements clearly between customers and technicians
  • This includes scope of work, site details, and urgency
  • Track and manage service quotes, work orders, and service invoicing
  • Assist in logistics for field technicians
  • Maintain accurate records of service history, equipment and customer interaction

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

  • Strong understanding of field service workflows, including work order management, dispatching, and coordination of field activities
  • Proven experience with scheduling, including coordinating technician calendars, prioritizing service requests, and ensuring timely job completion

  • Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions, with the ability to clearly convey information to customers, technicians, and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, capable of utilizing critical thinking to ensure precision in tasks
  • Excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks while adapting to shifting demands
  • Possesses a passion for continuous learning and development, and a desire to explore new opportunities and expand professional horizons

  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative
