Manufacturing Engineer (Contract-to-Hire Potential)
Pay Rate: $53.00+/hour based on experience
Ready to make a real impact in a regulated, high-performance manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations, improve equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This contract role offers potential extension and possible direct hire conversion for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and semi-automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using structured root cause analysis methods
  • Drive equipment reliability, uptime improvements, and process optimization initiatives
  • Support validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and internal quality system requirements
  • Support CAPA investigations, nonconformance resolution, and audit readiness
  • Provide real-time production support and lead continuous improvement efforts
  • Train and support technicians and operators on equipment and processes


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, tooling, and equipment troubleshooting
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and controls fundamentals
  • Experience supporting semi-automated manufacturing equipment
  • Medical device or highly regulated industry experience preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SAP, MES, and validation experience a plus
