Auria is looking to hire a Scheduler to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. The selected candidate must be capable of building a Level 5 Integrated Master Schedule from the ground up, decomposing systems engineering milestones, RMF dependencies, and Agile delivery cadences into a fully logic-tied, resource-loaded baseline. This is a schedule construction role, not a schedule maintenance role.
Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government and Auria facilities may be required.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Build and own the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) from the ground up, decomposing the Work Breakdown Structure to Level 5 with full logic ties, resource loading, and critical path identification.
- Work directly with the Chief Engineer and program leads to decompose systems engineering milestones - including design reviews, ICD deliverables, and architecture decisions - into schedulable IMS tasks.
- Integrate RMF/ATO milestone dependencies, Agile PI cadence, and facility accreditation triggers into the IMS as discrete, traceable schedule threads.
- Establish and maintain the IMS baseline, managing changes through formal change control and providing variance analysis at each reporting cycle.
- Coordinate with the Product Owner to ensure the program backlog structure maps to IMS task decomposition, maintaining mutual consistency between the two.
- Produce schedule performance metrics and IMS-driven status inputs for program reviews, Government status reviews, and internal leadership reporting.
- Maintain resource loading and identify schedule risk, float erosion, and critical path changes; provide early warning to program leadership.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience building and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules on DoW/federal programs, with demonstrated ability to construct Level 5 schedules from program requirements.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project; must be able to build a fully logic-tied, resource-loaded IMS from requirements, not simply update an existing one.
- Working knowledge of RMF milestone dependencies, systems engineering review structures (SDR, CDR, TRR), and Agile PI cadence as inputs to schedule decomposition.
- Experience supporting programs with classified system boundaries and facility accreditation milestones as schedule dependencies.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Current U.S. Government Top SECRET clearance.
- Experience supporting DoW, U.S. Space Force, or Space Systems Command programs.
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework and PI planning event structures as inputs to IMS decomposition.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule performance index reporting.
- PMP or PMI-SP certification.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $100,925 - $145,000
APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 3, 2026
