Job Title: Enterprise Account Executive - Pharmacy Solutions
Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Full Time Direct Hire with Benefits

Compensation: $185,000 base salary plus uncapped commission with $370,000+ On-Target Earnings (OTE). Top performers have the opportunity to exceed OTE.

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive to drive new business development with health plans, pharmacy benefit organizations, and third-party administrators. This is a true hunter role focused on selling enterprise healthcare software and services that improve pharmacy claims accuracy, payment integrity, and cost savings for customers.

What you'll do
  • Find and win new business with health insurance companies, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), third-party administrators (TPAs), and self-funded employers.
  • Sell software and services that help insurers identify incorrect pharmacy claims, reduce overpayments, prevent fraud, and improve payment accuracy.
  • Build relationships with executives (VPs, Directors, C-suite) in pharmacy operations, claims, finance, and procurement.
  • Manage long, complex sales cycles that often involve multiple decision-makers and contracts worth hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars.
  • Create business cases showing customers how much money they can save by using Cotiviti's solutions.
  • Travel to customer meetings, conferences, and industry events to generate new opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecast future business.
Who we are looking for
  • A true hunter who enjoys opening new accounts rather than managing existing customers.
  • Someone with extensive experience selling enterprise healthcare software or services.
  • Experience selling specifically to health plans, PBMs, TPAs, or pharmacy organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy claims, payment integrity, Medicare Part D, and healthcare reimbursement.
  • Comfortable selling to senior executives and closing large, multi-million-dollar deals.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of enterprise healthcare sales experience.
  • Minimum 7 years experience selling into health plans, TPAs, or pharmacy benefit organizations.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Proven success selling pharmacy claim editing, payment accuracy, utilization management, or related solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into at least two of the following buyer segments: commercial health plans, Medicare Advantage/Part D plans, Medicaid MCOs, payer-owned PBMs, TPAs, or self-funded employer plans.
  • Proven success selling pharmacy claim editing, payment accuracy, utilization management, or related Rx industry services.
  • Demonstrated experience closing deals ranging from hundreds of thousands to multi-million-dollar contract values.
  • Extensive experience selling to executive-level stakeholders including C-suite, SVP, and VP-level leaders across payer and TPA organizations.
