Job Title: Travel Data Center Technician (Fly-In / Fly-Out) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Travel Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure across multiple data center sites nationwide. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy travel and hands-on technical work without the need to relocate. Technicians will be deployed to various sites on a project or support basis, flying in as needed and returning home upon completion. Key Responsibilities * Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center hardware including servers, racks, cabling, and network equipment * Execute break/fix support, hardware upgrades, and decommissioning activities * Install and manage structured cabling (copper and fiber), including testing and labeling * Support power and cooling systems, including PDU installs and basic electrical troubleshooting * Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for deployment and incident response * Document work performed, inventory updates, and site conditions accurately Travel Requirements * 100% travel-based role (fly-in/fly-out model) * No relocation required - candidates may reside anywhere in the U.S. * Travel typically ranges from 3-10 days per assignment (may vary) * All travel expenses (flights, hotels, per diem, rental cars) are covered by the company * Flexibility to respond to urgent travel requests is essential Required Qualifications * 1-3+ years of experience in data center operations, IT support, or a related field * Hands-on experience with server hardware, rack/stack, and cabling * Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, switches, etc.) * Familiarity with data center environments and best practices * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Wolfforth, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
