SALARY:

$20.00 - $22.75 per hour.The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and deliver graduate-level pharmacology curriculum for DNAP students in accordance with program objectives, accreditation standards, and university policies.
  • Provide instruction in general pharmacology, anesthesia pharmacology, autonomic pharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, sedatives, analgesics, neuromuscular blockade, vasoactive medications, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and related pharmacotherapeutics relevant to anesthesia and perioperative patient care.
  • Develop course materials including lectures, examinations, case studies, simulation integration, learning activities, and online educational resources.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback, remediation guidance, and academic support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate course records and comply with university policies regarding grading, assessment, and instructional documentation.
  • Participate in course evaluation, curriculum review, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary faculty, clinical educators, and program leadership to ensure integration of pharmacology content throughout the DNAP curriculum.
  • Maintain current knowledge of advances in pharmacology, anesthesia therapeutics, healthcare education methodologies, and evidence-based practice.
  • Participate in scholarly, professional development, or educational activities consistent with graduate healthcare education expectations.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and academic activities as appropriate for the role.
