What to Expect
We are looking for a controls modeling engineer who will focus on cell manufacturing equipment characterization. This person will analyze sensors, actuators, and process data to identify anomalies. The candidate will be involved in control system improvements and model-based digital twin development for process health monitoring, fault detection, and prognostics to improve the equipment throughput and yield.
What You'll Do
- Apply first principles thinking and scientific methodologies
to system characterization to understand operation space and identify risks and failure modes - Develop system models to understand the process dynamic
behavior and identify the root causes of the possible failures - Work
closely with equipment, controls, and process teams for next generation equipment design and performance optimization - Collect test data, analyze test results, and guide failure
analysis - Develop and maintain MATLAB/Python applications that
automate failure analysis and data visualization
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering,
or equivalent experience - Expert knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong background in modeling and signal processing
