Job Details

The Data Quality Specialist II, Customer Onboarding will be responsible for data integrity, setup accuracy, and analysis throughout the onboarding lifecycle to enable a seamless customer experience.

You will play a key role in supporting onboarding activities by auditing and validating customer master data, creating Master Load Templates (MLTs) from customer-provided documentation, establishing appropriate credit parameters, and finalizing account setups so customers can successfully place orders.

Working closely with other Data Quality Specialists and cross-functional partners, you will help drive efficient onboarding execution and ensure compliance with data quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards of data accuracy within customer master data management and onboarding workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Data Auditing & Validation:Audit and validate all SAP customer master fields for onboarding records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Advanced Documentation Analysis: Lead the analysis of customer-submitted documents to extract and interpret essential data elements, determining setup parameters that align with customer needs.

  • Quality Assurance Champion: Conduct meticulous quality checks to safeguard data integrity, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving discrepancies or errors to ensure all data is complete and reliable.

  • Data Integrity Maintenance:Identify and correct discrepancies in customer master data, ensuring high-quality standards for data accuracy and integrity.

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with cross functional teams, sales and Customer Engagement Managers to clarify data requirements and resolve any issues related to data input.

  • Data Management: Organize and maintain comprehensive records in accordance with company policies, ensuring data is structured and readily accessible for future analysis.

  • SAP Expertise:Utilize advanced SAP skills to input, validate, and maintain customer master data and support onboarding processes.

  • MLT Creation:Create Master Load Templates (MLTs) based on customer input gathered through document collection processes, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.

  • Documentation Management:Review and analyze customer documentation to determine load parameters.

  • Threshold Credit Setup:Assess and determines credit parameters for new accounts under a specified threshold, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Existing Account Adjustments:Review, analyze, and update credit parameters based on existing accounts.

  • Account Readiness:Finalize the setup of customer accounts in SAP, ensuring all required data fields are completed and accurate to permit ordering.

  • Task-Driven Assignments: Complete specific data entry assignments tied to onboarding workflows while adhering to priority and quality standards.

  • Error Identification and Resolution: Identify and escalate data discrepancies or incomplete information to Data Quality Specialists for resolution, ensuring timely corrections.

  • Data Updates: Perform updates to customer master records as needed, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Education and Work Experience

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Previous experience in customer onboarding or account setup processes.

  • Knowledge of customer master data fields and workflows.

  • Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or logistics is a plus.

  • 3-4 years of experience in a data quality, data management, or customer onboarding role.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP customer master data is highly preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in SAP, particularly in customer master data fields and account setup workflows.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong auditing, validation, and data management skills.

  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting documentation to extract relevant data elements and ensure accuracy in data entry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data discrepancies effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and interact with stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with document collection workflows and credit assessment processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

  • Self-motivated with a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.
