The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Summary of Job Function:

Responsible for routine histology procedures including specimen accessioning support, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and special staining, coverslipping, quality control, and slide distribution,

Ensures accurate specimen identification, proper documentation, and compliance with departmental policies, safety standards, CAP, CLIA, and regulatory requirements,

Maintains equipment, reagents, inventory, and a clean organized work area,

Communicates effectively with pathologists, PAs, supervisors, and laboratory staff to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis,

Requirements:

• HT/HTL ASCP certification preferred or eligible,
• Histology experience preferred,
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, follow SOPs, troubleshoot technical issues, and work independently in a high-volume anatomic pathology laboratory,
