Systems Analyst New York, NY 10003 Pay: $55.00 per hour 26-06282 Job Summary The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing technical support, systems administration, troubleshooting, and technology solutions across engineering and corporate environments. This role supports desktop systems, engineering applications, network infrastructure, document management platforms, and end-user technologies to ensure operational reliability, performance, and user productivity. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Windows environments, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and business users. Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Install, configure, deploy, image, and maintain Windows-based desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Support and maintain Microsoft Office 365 and other business-critical applications.
- Support engineering workstations, printers, plotters, peripherals, and related technology equipment.
- Assist with LAN/WAN connectivity, remote access technologies, and network-related troubleshooting.
- Install, maintain, and support applications and services hosted on departmental and enterprise systems.
- Serve as a liaison between end users and centralized IT support teams to facilitate issue resolution.
- Administer and support engineering document management and drawing management systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist users with system configurations and workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, procedures, and support materials.
- Provide user training and guidance on systems, applications, and business processes.
- Maintain hardware asset inventories and equipment lifecycle records.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and support operational needs.
- Support technology projects including system upgrades, migrations, deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in testing, implementation, and validation activities for technology solutions.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and technology standards.
- Support environmental, health, safety, and security initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field required.
- Experience supporting Windows 11 operating systems.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications and services.
- Working knowledge of remote access technologies and end-user support tools.
- Experience deploying, imaging, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and mobile hardware.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and systems support principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between work locations as needed.
Work Experience
- Experience providing desktop support, systems administration, technical support, or IT operations support required.
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments preferred.
- Experience supporting document management systems preferred.
- Experience supporting server-based applications and services preferred.
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, or Shell Scripting preferred.
- Experience supporting network infrastructure and connectivity issues preferred.
- Experience coordinating technology projects and system implementations preferred.
