Position Summary This position exists to support the daily operations of the Associate Vice President/Dean of Students at MSU Denver while working collaboratively with a team to support the 23 programs and services across Student Engagement & Well-being, a unit within Enrollment & Student Affairs. This position assists with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the unit. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Systems, the Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in managing schedules, coordinating and preparing for meetings, and handling correspondence. This position involves strong communication, organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated problem-solving abilities, a keen attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems, software, and tools. The candidate selected for hire will have a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively while providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The anticipated hiring range that the university reasonably expects to pay for this position is $47,300 - $51,000 This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
