Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. With 97% of all first-year students choosing to live on campus, we create spaces and opportunities for Yellow Jackets to grow and connect from their first day of college through their graduate studies. We are proud to support our students' personal development and academic endeavors while providing a safe and comfortable living environment. Our department is a large and complex organization supporting over 8,700 on-campus residents among 49 traditional, suite, and apartment-style residence halls, some of which were constructed for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Our team of 200+ professional staff and 300+ student staff from six units supports residents directly and indirectly with their unique talents. We are housed within the Campus Services division, which includes many student service offices. We support students in building a strong foundation for their Georgia Tech experience, helping them feel seen, supported, and ready to thrive both personally and academically. Job Summary
Design and develop co-curricular programming to support community development. Participate in goal-setting and be responsible for creating student-led initiatives, developing assessment measures, and recommending new program designs. Support all activities, programs, courses, marketing, and recruiting efforts of the communities. Lead students in the day-to-day management of the community through event planning, recruitment initiatives, expense tracking, and student support.
This position will interact on a regular basis with: Unit management staff, faculty, and students. This position typically will advise and counsel Students. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Create student-led initiatives to meet program goals. Job Duty 2 - Plan, coordinate, and support scheduling and logistics for unit events and engagement activities, including, but not limited to, making/coordinating space reservations and arrangements, registration, materials, distribution, etc. Job Duty 3 - Act as a liaison with internal and external groups to create or maintain partnerships, outreach, and/or development opportunities in support of unit objectives. Job Duty 4 - Coordinate the application process through response to prospect inquiries, maintaining applicant records, etc. Job Duty 5 - Oversee student recruitment/program promotional event preparation. Job Duty 6 - Coordinate preparations for conducting courses, which may include classroom or facilities scheduling and preparation, ordering and distributing course materials, etc. Job Duty 7 - Participate in the development of new marketing initiatives that may include detailed design of print, email, and/or web campaigns and coordination of related production efforts. Job Duty 8 - Provide administrative services, including travel arrangements, agenda preparation, mailings, file maintenance, and related duties; collect, reconcile, and audit monthly unit expense transactions. Process Workday transactions, travel requests, payroll, time documents, personnel action forms, and generate check requests. Job Duty 10 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience One to two years of job-related experience. Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events and programs. Experience with student recruitment, outreach, and engagement initiatives. Prior professional experience working in higher education. Prior experience in residence life, housing, or student affairs environments. Proposed Salary
