- Estimated hourly base pay: $25.00 - $32.00. Plus, overtime.

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're anexperienced Wastewater - Maintenance Mechanic II, we have an exciting opportunity for you! ** This is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday, 8 hours shift, starting at 6am. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.
- Diagnose Mechanical Issues: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions by applying technical expertise and standard troubleshooting methods.
- Maintain Maintenance Records: Accurately document all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs performed, and parts utilized, to ensure comprehensive history and compliance.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Implement and follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
- Communicate Technical Information: Effectively share technical updates and maintenance status with team members to facilitate coordinated and efficient operations.

- Mechanical Repair: Expertise in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment.

- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools required for maintenance tasks.
- Workflow Management: Efficiently managing personal workload to meet maintenance schedules and team objectives.

- Analytical Problem Solving: Applying established procedures and methods to resolve typical maintenance issues.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience maintaining and repairing wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, motors, valves, blowers, screens, clarifiers, chemical feed systems, or similar industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of wastewater treatment, plant operations and equipment.
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems used in water or wastewater environments.
- Familiarity with confined space entry, lockout/tagout, and other safety requirements common in wastewater facilities.
- Ability to work around wet, dirty, noisy, and odor-producing environments.
- Experience reading and following equipment manuals, P&IDs, and maintenance instructions.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance in a wastewater or industrial setting.
- Ability to support emergency repairs and after-hours response as needed.
- Experience with pumps, piping, gearboxes, compressors, and related mechanical systems preferred.
- Previous wastewater operator, maintenance, or industrial mechanic experience preferred.
