Bringing together traditional and alternative investments, Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management provides clients around the world with a dedicated partnership and focus on long-term performance. As a primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals.

Liquidity Solutions, within Asset & Wealth Management, is seeking an associate to join the portfolio management team. The individual will become an integral part of the trading desk, interacting closely with the portfolio managers, sales, trading counterparties, operations, controllers and technology.

Principal Responsibilities:
* Trade generation and execution across Prime & Municipal Money Market Funds, Separately Managed Accounts and Short Duration Vehicles.
* Build and monitor risk in portfolios, including management of cash flows
* Establish and maintain relationships with sell-side counterparties to facilitate trading in Commercial Paper, CDs, Time Deposits, Repo as well as Investment Grade Credit.
* Drive the management of our municipal money market portfolios.
* Work with technology and strat teams to increase automation, improve quality of data, and create new trading tools
* Liaise with operations on a daily basis to resolve any trading issues

Basic Qualifications:
* Two to four years of relevant fixed income experience in trading or similar role
* Knowledge of short-term debt markets dynamics and trading strategies
* Ability to multitask in order to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
* Numerical and analytical with excellent attention to detail
* Creative and strategic thinker
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
