The Curators of the University of Missouri seek a full-time Assistant Professor of Elementary Literacy Education in the College of Education at the University of Missouri St. Louis campus located in St. Louis, Missouri responsible for teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of Sociolinguistics and Communication in the Classroom, including courses such as Cross-Cultural Communication in the Classroom, Literacy for Adolescent Learners in Content Areas, and related courses. Duties of the position also include conducting research in these areas as well as other scholarly duties assigned by the Department. The position requires the services of an individual who possesses a PhD in Literacy Education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field or an EdD in Literacy Education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field.
