JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
PAY RANGE: $22 - $28/hour | SHIFT: 1st / 6a - 2:30 PM

QUICK SUMMARY
Prototek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep of our manufacturing facility and office environment. This role is ideal for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys troubleshooting problems, completing repairs and helping keep operations running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and functional work environment. Formal education is not required: practical maintenance experience, problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle a wide range of projects are most important.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general building and facility maintenance repairs
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs
- Managing facility, grounds, and fleet maintenance activities
- Working with outside vendors and service providers
- Supporting continuous improvement and facility upgrade projects
- Scheduling preventative maintenance activities
- Promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Partnering with operations teams to keep production running smoothly
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience inmaintenance, facilities, or industrial equipment (preferred)
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and facilities (preferred)
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and CNC related equipment (preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- OSHA certification and forklift experience are a plus
