JOB DESCRIPTION Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Legal Procurement Lead who is analytical, collaborative, and solution-oriented to join us in our Legal and Procurement team, based in our Brussels office in Belgium. About the role You will act as a trusted legal advisor supporting procurement activities across a global scope. You will contribute to business decision-making by providing clear, practical legal advice on commercial agreements and risk management. You will work on diverse topics, including external services and technology-related contracts, while helping improve processes and tools that support efficient and compliant sourcing. Who you'll work with You will be working in a team that partners closely with procurement professionals and legal colleagues across the organisation. The team focuses on enabling business success while ensuring compliance and sound risk management. You will collaborate with stakeholders across functions, contributing to a supportive and international environment that values knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. What you'll do * Provide practical legal advice to procurement teams on commercial agreements and risk management across a wide range of services. * Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to consulting, technology, data services, and external workforce arrangements. * Support risk assessment and propose mitigation strategies to enable informed and balanced business decisions. * Contribute to the development of templates, guidelines, and tools that improve contracting efficiency and consistency. * Deliver guidance and training to colleagues on legal topics relevant to procurement activities. * Support dispute resolution and contribute to projects that enhance contract management processes and tools. For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills * Degree in law and relevant professional qualification to practise as a legal advisor. * Experience working in an in-house legal environment, supporting procurement or commercial activities. * Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements. * Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders. * Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic and international environment.
