Job Duties: Senior Associate, Trade Processing with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in, New York, New York. Middle Office support for various global businesses, overseeing operational aspects of structured financing transactions and communication with internal/external clients. Work with trading and other internal stakeholders on executing new business and maintaining existing portfolio of trades. Mitigate risk by ensuring client activity is successfully managed post trade execution. Subject Matter Expert in credit derivatives, loans, debt instruments, structured financing transactions, and associated operational processes. Actively involved with idea generation and implementation of creating quality solutions within the team to support new client and business activity and regulatory adherence. Provide Lifecycle Support and guidance to trading desks, sales teams, and clients. Facilitate and negotiate with global teams across the firm and work closely with other team members and management to achieve both industry set and internal targets. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Legal Studies, Political Science, Law, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include at least three (3) years of experience with: reviewing client account transactions accuracy and making manual adjustments transactions in a client account ledger system to reflect accurate information; monitoring and streamlining case management workflows to provide real-time updates to clients; conducting Quality Assurance reviews by analyzing tax vendor audit reports to validate data integrity and assess report accuracy metrics; defining system functionality and workflow requirements for engineering, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations; using pre-deployment product testing, leveraging testing environment to identify and log bugs issues and conduct data collection for resolutions with the engineering team; using data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data and communicate findings to management; and establishing key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and monitoring performance over time to identify areas for further improvement.
