Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a dynamic person for the position of Associate Account Executive to support our Telecom services with a primary focus on the West region of the U.S. The successful individual will be responsible for representing the company in developing excellent customer relationships with all existing and potential customers through friendly, informative, and efficient service. You will assist the Account Executives with all business development activities and bolster growth throughout the West region. The successful candidate will actively introduce and cross-sell our varied service lines to customers in the Telecom industry. The ideal candidate will have experience selling and marketing within a professional services arena and is comfortable with and enjoys 50% or more travel.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director and will be a home-based, remote position. Candidates must already be established in the West region with demonstrable success working under this model to be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Must exhibit excellent business development, customer service and leadership skills and work well within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Maintain and develop existing and new clients through appropriate sales initiatives
  • Value building long-term, dynamic, customer-intimate relationships with clients
  • Assist with client satisfaction efforts as needed
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute personal sales activities towards achieving agreed-upon business goals and metrics
  • Work alongside Account Executives to develop campaign strategies and outreach to expand existing accounts
  • Efficient communication with Account Executives regarding quotes, trends and customer updates
  • Generate incremental revenue according to specific targets/goals
  • Manage an opportunity pipeline, with metrics including activity tracking, calls, opportunities, leads, client and prospect follow up
  • Present the above metrics as part of standard team meetings
  • As this is a remote-based position, standard travel to client offices, conferences, or other events is required


Qualifications and Capabilities



  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university with an area of focus in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven success with a business development focus in a professional environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • A good understanding of the sales process
  • Previous experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and a determination to surpass performance goals

The reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position may also be eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered will be based on a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to; geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, knowledge, skills/level, qualifications and budget.
