*Description*
New Berlin AdaptHealth is a full-service home medical equipment company. They offer ocean home health products, sleep therapy supplies, bed lifts, seat lift chairs, bath aids, CPAP machines, ventilators, and breast pumps. Their New Berlin location is looking for a Clinical Technician ("Clintech") to support their Respiratory Therapists in equipment setup on location (hospitals and assisted living facilities) Will be working at the branch location, and going on site at hospitals and assisted living facilities (ONCE DIRECT) to set up and explain/troubleshoot equipment. They will be driving a company car, and not driving more than 1-2 hours on travel days. The travel will depend on how much/when equipment is ordered from the hospital, depends on the needs of the patients, they could have a whole week where they go without going on location or will be going to multiple locations in one day. - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch Job Description: - Working with Respiratory Department Staff and Program Managers to provide instruction, service, and troubleshooting techniques for respiratory equipment to patients. - Educate and teach patients and caregivers how to use and care for respiratory equipment - Setting up equipment, explaining equipment to patients, explaining financial responsibilities to patients. - Complete all company, insurance and/or government provided paperwork timely and entirely. Such as Delivery tickets, safety checklist forms, patient booklet receipts, equipment specific instruction/cleaning forms, etc. - Equipment are CPAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, Nebulizers, etc. *Will double as a CSR at store location when not on location with patients* - Customer Service Specialists are responsible for learning and understanding the entire front-end process to ensure successful service for our patients - Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls, email - May be responsible for obtaining, analyze, and verify the accuracy of information received from referrals, create orders, and or schedule the patient to receive equipment as ordered by their doctor - Answer all calls and emails in a timely manner, in adherence to their goals - Process orders, route calls to the appropriate resources, and follow up on customer calls where necessary *Skills* Customer Service, MDE, Clinical Care, Medical Insurance, Hippa, Healthcare Industry, Help desk support, Call center *Top Skills Details* Customer Service,MDE,Clinical Care,Medical Insurance,Hippa,Healthcare Industry *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Excellent customer service skills Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Decision Making Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Solid ability to learn new technologies and possess the technical aptitude required to understand the flow of data through systems as well as system interaction Work well independently and as part of a group Ability to adapt and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment, be patient, accountable, proactive, take initiative and work effectively on a team High School Diploma or equivalent One (1) year work related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management *Experience Level* Entry Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
