US - Staffing - Machine Operator/Mail Sorter

Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
The Mail Insert Operator is responsible for operating high-speed inserting equipment used to assemble and prepare mailings. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed inserter machines to process and assemble mail pieces
• Load paper and materials into equipment throughout the shift
• Monitor machine performance and address minor jams or operational issues
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and productivity standards are met
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning as needed
• Maintain production records and follow established procedures
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and workplace policies
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, or production experience is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are beneficial
