Job Title: Onboarding Analyst / Onboarding Coordinator

Location: Hybrid in Tampa, FL

Employment Type: Contract (Potential for Extension)

Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Onboarding Analyst to support end-to-end onboarding and preboarding activities for employees and contingent workers. This role acts as a central coordinator across multiple teams to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience.

The ideal candidate will manage onboarding workflows, track progress, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure all requirements are completed prior to a new hire's start date.

Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and preboarding activities for new hires and contingent workers
  • Initiate onboarding workflows and track progress to ensure timely completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Recruiting, IT, Compliance, and Operations
  • Ensure completion of onboarding requirements such as:
  • New hire documentation
  • Employment eligibility (e.g., I-9 / right-to-work)
  • Identity verification
  • Training assignments
  • System access and provisioning
  • Monitor onboarding status and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Identify and escalate onboarding issues, delays, or risks
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and documentation for audit purposes
  • Support onboarding governance controls to ensure compliance before Day 1
  • Assist in improving onboarding processes and candidate experience


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-5+ years of experience in:
  • Onboarding coordination
  • HR Operations
  • Workforce administration
  • Experience managing multiple onboarding cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
