*Job Title: Member Service Representative (Remote Contact Center)*
*Job Description*The Member Service Representative responds to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals in a high-volume, 24/7 structured contact center. In this role, you provide accurate information about financial products and services, perform account transactions, and deliver an exceptional member experience through active listening, strong communication, and skilled use of multiple systems. You support a wide range of account types and help identify additional products and services that may meet members' financial needs. *Responsibilities* * Respond to inbound phone calls from members and other individuals in a high-volume, schedule-driven contact center environment. * Handle back-to-back calls for the majority of each shift, including extended periods of up to four hours of continuous call-taking between breaks. * Provide accurate information about products and services, including savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other account types. * Perform transactions and related functions on member accounts in a timely and accurate manner. * Use active listening and clear communication to understand member needs and provide appropriate solutions. * Adapt quickly between multiple computer systems and tools while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. * Engage members in a positive and professional manner to ensure an optimal member experience and strong customer service. * Advise members of additional products and services that may fit their financial needs and offer opportunities for further engagement. * Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements during every interaction. * Work effectively within a very structured environment, adhering to schedules, performance expectations, and call handling standards. * Take scheduled breaks and meals at assigned times to support contact center coverage and service levels. * Demonstrate reliability and flexibility in working within a shift window, including variable start and end times within a one-hour range. * Maintain confidentiality and protect member information at all times. * Contribute to a professional, service-focused culture within the contact center. *Essential Skills* * Proven customer service experience in a professional, structured, or high-volume environment. * Experience handling inbound and outbound calls, preferably in a contact center setting. * Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail. * Ability to manage high volume calls while maintaining composure and professionalism. * Comfort working in a very structured environment with defined schedules and procedures. * Ability to adapt to and navigate multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously. * Clear verbal communication skills and active listening abilities. * Capability to follow policy and compliance requirements consistently. * Dependability in adhering to assigned schedules, including breaks and shift windows. * Residence within approximately 60 miles of Jacksonville, FL, with the ability to work remotely. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Background in call center, administrative support, or receptionist/secretary roles. * Experience in banking, mortgage, or other financial services environments. * Experience in a professional office environment or high-volume retail setting. * Comfort discussing financial products such as checking, savings, loans, credit cards, and IRAs. * Ability to remain engaged and focused while taking back-to-back calls for extended periods. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively within a structured schedule. *Why Work Here?*Join a mission-driven organization that serves the financial needs of military members and their families around the world, supported by an extensive global branch network. You work in a 24/7/365 operation that supports members around the world, with shifts designed to balance service coverage and personal life. Most shifts are flexible, meaning your start and end times can vary within a one-hour window, and your daily availability must span 9.5 hours to accommodate this variation. You take back-to-back calls for most of your shift and may be on the phone for up to four continuous hours before a scheduled break. Scheduled breaks and meals occur at specific times and must be taken as assigned to maintain coverage. The environment is highly structured, performance- and schedule-driven, and relies on extensive use of computer systems, telephony tools, and multiple applications to handle member requests efficiently from your remote workspace. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
