THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA Tippie College of Business Adjunct Lecturer position in Business Analytics and Information Systems The Department of Business Analytics within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for Adjunct Lecturer, starting January 2027 for in-person course offerings in downtown Des Moines. The course load for this position will be at most 1 course per semester. Given the location in Des Moines, we encourage applications from those living or willing to live in Des Moines. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted. The Department of Business Analytics offers undergraduate and doctoral programs in Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS). The Department also offers a Graduate Certificate and master's programs in Business Analytics and also contributes courses to the Iowa MBA program. Offerings in the graduate Business Analytics program are offered online and in Iowa City as well as the remote site in Des Moines. Education Requirement: A master's degree in a related field is required. Required Qualifications: A master's degree in a related field is required. Desired Qualifications: A teaching background in operations and supply chain is preferred. Evidence of successful teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred. Extensive industry experience is preferred.
