Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong front-end customer service experience in a healthcare setting who enjoys working directly with patients while also supporting operational workflows. As the first point of contact, you will play a critical role in delivering an excellent patient experience through in-person interactions, phone support, and administrative coordination. Workload Breakdown * 60% Patient-facing (in-person support and product training) * 30% Phone-based support (inbound calls) * 10% Order entry and administrative tasks Key Responsibilities * Greet and assist walk-in patients with home medical equipment, supplies, and CPAP/PAP services * Perform insurance verification and schedule patient appointments * Accurately enter sales orders and patient data into internal systems * Assemble products and provide basic education/training to patients * Manage inventory, including unpacking and stocking supplies * Handle inbound calls while delivering excellent customer service * Support Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and sales team functions * Collaborate with PAP Technicians and cross-functional teams * Participate in an on-call rotation after the contract period (up to 2 times/month, latest shift ending at 8:00 PM) Required Qualifications * 1-2 years of healthcare customer service experience * Experience handling inbound calls / phone support * Strong operations coordination and multitasking skills * Excellent communication and patient-facing interpersonal skills * High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Work Environment * Fully onsite role with a structured weekday schedule * Collaborative team environment with cross-functional support * Hands-on work supporting patient care and medical equipment services Employee Value Proposition (EVP) * Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care and experience * Balanced role combining in-person interaction, phone support, and administrative work * Exposure to healthcare operations, medical equipment, and patient education * Supportive team environment with opportunities to grow skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
