Overview
ENERCON's Energy Group is seeking an Application Engineer to support the Business Development team with technical guidance and proposal development for the design of new power generation projects as opportunities transition from sales to fulfillment. This role will report to the Senior Manager of New Power Generation and be responsible for early promotion and development of optimal technical and economic value solutions to assist ENERCON clients with their strategic business decisions. This position has tremendous growth opportunities as you will interface with multiple ENERCON disciplines and teams to ensure the right solutions are offered and the design is executed effectively. As a member of the Energy Group business unit, the successful candidate will work cross-functionally with members of other business units including power delivery, environmental, data center, and industrial engineering groups. Responsibilities We are seeking driven candidates with a strong understanding of the fundamentals across a range of power generation technologies, systems, and processes. Candidates with experience developing proforma models and using tools such as Crystal Ball, PowerBI, and/or Thermoflow modeling software are preferred. This role is instrumental in expanding customer and market awareness while supporting ENERCON's strategic growth into emerging power generation markets.
