Job Summary

The Part Time Merchandiser (PTM) is responsible for servicing customer accounts in a safe, productive, and professional manner by ensuring product inventory is properly stocked, displayed, rotated, and maintained across large and small format retail locations. This role supports sales initiatives by building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities to increase product presence, and maintaining high merchandising standards. The PTM is expected to demonstrate professionalism, focus, passion, and responsibility in all interactions and daily responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities




  • Ensure products are properly rotated and maintained according to product rotation standards to minimize damaged or expired inventory.



  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly functioning merchandising equipment that meets current standards.



  • Execute merchandising processes, routines, and display standards consistently across assigned accounts.



  • Monitor competitor activity, including product launches and pricing changes, and communicate observations to the appropriate sales team members.



  • Build, maintain, and support growth of the assigned product portfolio within retail accounts.



  • Notify the appropriate sales representative regarding damaged, expired, out-of-stock, or exchange product needs, as well as display opportunities.



  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with retail managers and store personnel.



  • Collaborate with sales team members to support promotional programs and large display executions.



  • Maintain accurate records required for compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.



  • Operate responsibly and represent the brand professionally while traveling between accounts.



  • Adhere to company standards, policies, and core values in all job functions.



  • Work collaboratively with team members and share best practices to support overall business objectives.




Job Requirements




  • High school diploma or GED required.



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.



  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and participate in group presentations or role-playing activities.



  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.



  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.



  • Proficiency with smartphone technology and mobile applications.



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.



  • Excellent time management skills and consistent punctuality.



  • Ability to assess inventory levels and merchandising opportunities accurately.



  • Fluent in English.



  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.



  • Must be at least 18 years of age.



  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes with required insurance coverage.
