Human Resources Assistant- Benefit Administration Rockville, Maryland Pay From: $25.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Human Resources Assistant - Benefit Administration Must have 3 plus years of experience as Human Resources Assistant - Benefit Administration Must have experience running payroll Must have experience handling benefit administration Must have HRIS/HCM experience Experience working on Paycom HRIS System is highly preferred DUTIES: Human Resources Assistant - Benefit Administration will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Maintain and update employee records and benefits files Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and claims Advise and inform employees of the details of the company's benefit programs Resolve benefit-related issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner Research new employee benefit plans and vendors Liaise with vendors and negotiate and coordinate contracts for new and existing plans Evaluate the efficiency and value of current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations. Verifying employee timesheets to confirm hours worked and ensure accuracy Calculating wages, overtime, tips, commissions and bonuses Processing payroll using software Entering data related to benefits deductions, tax withholdings and direct deposit preferences Maintaining organized records of payroll transactions and employee compensation Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries Ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws and company policies Processing wage garnishments, levies and other court-ordered deductions Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
