in shaping some of our most important commercial construction projects while
helping develop the people, processes, and partnerships that drive our

This is more than a
project management position. You'll serve as a trusted partner to customers,
provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, and help guide projects
from conception through completion. Your ability to balance strategy,
execution, financial performance, and customer satisfaction will directly

At a Glance

Pay: $109,000-$163,000 annual salary; dependent
on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.

Employment Type: Full-Time/Exempt

Location: On-Site/Duluth, MN

Travel: 15-20% to local and regional project
sites and customer locations.

Required Experience: 8+ years

Schedule: Standard full-time schedule. Work
hours may occasionally vary to support project deadlines, workload, and
operational requirements.

Benefits Start: First of the month following 20
calendar days from date of hire.

What You'll Do

  • Lead commercial construction
    projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring successful
    delivery from planning through closeout.
  • Establish project goals,
    timelines, staffing plans, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements
    to support project success.
  • Monitor project financial
    performance, including budgets, costs, forecasts, change orders, and
    profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong
    relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and
    other key project stakeholders.
  • Lead project coordination
    meetings and maintain effective communication between project teams,
    customers, and business partners.
  • Oversee project
    documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, invoices, permits,
    schedules, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify project risks,
    develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to maintain
    schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with
    company policies, customer requirements, quality standards, and safety
    expectations throughout project execution.
  • Mentor, coach, and support
    project management staff while helping drive training, employee
    development, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with department
    leadership to support operational planning, resource allocation, hiring,
    team development, and overall department success.

What We're Looking For

  • Required
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree is
      required.
      • Preferred programs include
        Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field of
        study.
    • Eight (8) years or more of
      construction experience is required.
      • Commercial construction
        experience, including experience with mechanical HVAC/plumbing, is
        strongly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of
      construction equipment, methods, building materials, drawings,
      specifications, and applicable industry standards; experience with system
      prefabrication and installation is required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft
      Office Suite and construction software, including AutoCAD, Revit,
      Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat, estimating software, Procore, Primavera, or
      similar project management and document-sharing platforms.
    • Must possess and maintain a
      valid state driver's license.
