This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Serves as a senior strategic advisor to the Communications and Brand leadership team, guiding the development, execution, and optimization of communications campaigns and strategies that support the achievement of business and brand goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Plan, organize, and execute integrated communications campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand standards, messaging frameworks, and audience engagement goals.
* Translate business objectives into actionable communications strategies and lead end-to-end execution of high-visibility initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines, risks, and deliverables.
* Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership, providing guidance on communications effectiveness, brand positioning, and execution of strategic and tactical plans.
* Act as a central liaison across functions, building strong relationships and proactively engaging stakeholders to ensure alignment, visibility, and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
* Evaluate and prioritize incoming communications requests, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and appropriate routing across teams.
* Define and track success metrics for initiatives, deliver performance insights, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to drive continuous improvement.
* Draft, proofread and edit communication materials ensuring all materials are accurate, produce the impact desired and meet brand and legal standards
* Design and implement innovative, practical solutions to complex communications challenges, both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Lead strategic and change management communications initiatives, support organizational priorities and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Contribute to the development of tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that enhance performance across all channels.
* Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, or related field. Master's Degree preferred
* Seven (7) years' work experience in Corporate Communications (Internal and/or External) or Brand Management
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
* Strong leadership skills with experience guiding campaigns and initiatives from strategy through execution
* Ability to create, prepare, and present reports, analyses, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
* Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with a customer-centric mindset
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) including proof-reading and presentations
* Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
* Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
