We're looking for a *highly organized, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative* who thrives on solving problems, managing complex orders, and delivering a top-tier customer experience. What You'll Do * Own and manage customer accounts, driving *customer satisfaction, sales growth, and margin goals* * Handle *end-to-end order management*: quotes, order entry, tracking, delivery updates, and follow-up * Act as a trusted resource to customers by *resolving issues, processing credits/debits, and managing returns* * Partner cross-functionally with *Operations, Engineering, and Outside Sales* to ensure seamless execution * Navigate *high-volume workflows*, including: * 50-75 complex orders daily (multiple line items) * 200+ emails/day or ~45 inbound calls when on phone rotation * Rotate weekly between *email-based and phone-based support*, balancing responsiveness with accuracy * Use systems like *QAD and Felix* for quoting, order entry, inventory, and tracking * Manage *shipping logistics and routing decisions*, ensuring correct carriers, billing types, and delivery details * Conduct thorough *contract and order reviews* to ensure accuracy and prevent costly errors * Maintain clear, detailed documentation in a fully *paperless environment* What Sets This Role Apart * You'll work in a *high-impact role* where precision matters-your attention to detail directly affects customer experience and business outcomes * Exposure to *global accounts and complex product lines*, building strong business and operational expertise * A *team-oriented environment* that values accountability, collaboration, and problem-solving What You Bring Required * 2+ years of *manufacturing customer service or sales support experience* * Experience working with *product-based knowledge and order entry systems* * Strong proficiency in *Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)* * Ability to manage *high-volume, detail-heavy work* with accuracy Preferred * Experience with *QAD or similar ERP systems* Key Strengths * Exceptional *attention to detail* and accuracy * Strong *multitasking and time management* skills * Professional, dependable, and *highly accountable* * Comfortable working in a *structured, fast-paced environment* Work Environment & Expectations * Schedule: *Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM* * This role requires *strict punctuality and attendance*, as team coordination and customer responsiveness are critical * Hybrid of *phone and email-based support*, with flexibility built into daily workflow *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
