This position will begin in the fall of the 2026-2027 school year. TYPE OF POSITION: Hourly; 10-month Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Building Principals SUPERVISION: None SALARY: $26/hr - $32/hr (dependent on experience and qualifications) QUALIFICATIONS: Required Preferred POSITION SUMMARY: The Behavior Truancy Interventionist works with administration and staff in maintaining attendance, discipline and a learning environment consistent with site and district policies, mission, and goals. TRAINING REQUIRED: * Training in emergency procedures, confidentiality, vulnerability, reporting obligations, discipline policies, roles and responsibilities, and a building orientation must be completed during probationary period (first 60 days of employment) SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: * Ability to work with children and youth who exhibit challenging behavior ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Assist the site administration to implement district and site discipline and learning environment consistent with site and district policies, mission, and goals PHYSICAL FACTORS: * Frequent: walking, standing, bending, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing BENEFITS: We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week*.
