Salary up to $25-30hour

Hours will be 8:00am - 4:45pm M-F

Onsite role

Responsibilities
  • Process prevailing Wage, SCA, & Project Payroll Compliance
  • Manage and submit data in customer Portal Reporting & Compliance Submissions
  • Administer tax Setup & Multi-State Payroll Support
  • Validate and reconcile payroll data
  • Answer payroll inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers
  • Communicate clearly and timely

General

  • Other duties as assigned
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of payroll or payroll compliance experience
  • Experience with multi-state payroll and tax requirements
  • Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals (wages, deductions, tax setup)
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Work, Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
Preferred:
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon, or SCA payroll
  • Experience with certified payroll or customer compliance reporting systems (e.g., LCPtracker)
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms

HIRING PROCESS (in addition to an interview):

  1. New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form with 3 days of hire. This form is required by the U.S. Department of Justice and Immigration and Immigration and Naturalization Services and is used to verify your identity and right to work in the United States. In addition, we verify employment eligibility via E-Verify.
  2. Background checks with criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, the Department of Motor Vehicles, are required of all Positions.
  3. Tests for Evidence of Substance Abuse by way of urinalysis test is required if this application results in an offer of employment.
