Position Summary Receive, log, inventory and secure lost and found articles. Inspect articles and telephone or send letters to owners when identification is known. Return articles to owners upon positive identification. Arrange for disposal of unclaimed property and deliver property and currency to NYPD or NYU Bursar Department on a regular basis. Maintain related records. Respond to inquiries regarding lost and found articles. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.329. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items. Human Resources will conduct a phone interview and possible skills assessments for a pool of qualified applicants. The candidates selected to move forward in the interview process may then participate in one-on-one, and/or panel interviews with DCS personnel designated by the hiring manager.
