The team's charter is to enable AItransformation andproduct growthin the mostcost-efficientway possible. This role will be responsible forthe business health analytics for GitHub. Responsibilities Publish executive-grade monthly and quarterly financial and operational summary including insights to highlight risks and opportunities impacting bottom lines in a timely manner. Drive reviews withexecutiveleadership,clearly communicating results and providing recommendations. Lead day-to-day partnership engineering to drive best-in-class profitability by understanding the margin implications for new services along with driving low unit cost down for the portfolio. Drive forecasting and analytics of capacity spend forCore Platform and Security products. Manage financial health through defined objectives and key results (OKRs) and P&L from our internal tools. Flag risks and opportunities thereof. Articulate findings into high quality communications and facilitate executive decision making across engineering, marketing, and finance executive leaders. Partner across finance orgs, including revenue, controllership, product healthto drive results. Continuously improve and evolve cost of goods sold (COGS) and Gross Margin insights garnered through financial results and KPIs with goal of influencing/impacting business in positive manner and crisp story telling. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 3+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 5+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively and influence stakeholders without direct authority, including exercising sound judgment to challenge when appropriate. Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving technology and business model trends. Deep understanding of the technology industry, especially commercial public and private cloud services, including related business models and economics. Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills. Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and virtual-team efforts. Demonstrated analytical aptitude, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to think strategically. Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $77,800 - $153,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $102,200 - $169,900 per year.
