Job Description:

The Senior Planner is responsible for executing daytoday production and supply planning activities for assigned product lines. This role works closely with a global planning and operations team, with direct collaboration across Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Sales Support to ensure customer demand is met within established planning parameters.

This is an individual contributor rolefocused on operational execution, coordination, and issue resolution rather than people management or strategic ownership. The position requires the ability to work independently while maintaining strong alignment with a Europebased management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales order scheduling activities based on customer requested ship dates, available capacity, and material constraints
  • Create, release, and monitor production orders to support manufacturing execution
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Contract Manufacturers to ensure timely availability of materials and components
  • Monitor production progress and proactively identify risks to committed delivery dates
  • Escalate supply, capacity, or material issues to senior planners or management when resolution is outside defined guidelines
  • Maintain accurate planning data, including Bills of Material (BoMs), routings, and item planning parameters
  • Partner with Inventory Control to research and resolve inventory discrepancies and transactional issues
  • Calculate and monitor raw material requirements to support nearterm production demand
  • Provide routine delivery status updates to Sales Support and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain standard planning reports and KPIs related to schedule adherence and order fulfillment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and manufacturing processes

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or a related operations role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Ability to understand multilevel manufactured assemblies and material flows
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • US Person

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, MIS, or a related field
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts
  • Experience working with global or remote teams
