At i360technologies,we specialize in business consulting and technology services for federal agencies.We are seeking a detail-orientedJunior Grants Analyst to support Federal grants and cooperative agreements across the full grants lifecycle (pre-award through closeout). This role supports program operations by ensuring compliance with Federal regulations, conducting application and financial reviews, and assisting with documentation and system processing.The ideal candidate has foundational experience in Federal grants management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Pre-Award Support

    • Assist in drafting and posting Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs)
    • Review applications for compliance, completeness, and clarity
    • Conduct budget analysis and evaluation
    • Perform risk assessments in accordance with 2 CFR 200.206
    • Analyze applications for compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and agency policies
    • Prepare award documentation (awards, budget memos, risk assessments)
    • Enter and maintain records in systems (e.g., PRISM, GrantSolutions, FMIS, USAspending)
    • Maintain compliant electronic award files
    • Communicate with applicants and stakeholders to support timely processing


    Post-Award Support

    • Support grant administration through analysis and recommendations
    • Monitor recipient performance and review progress reports
    • Review reimbursement requests for compliance with award terms
    • Draft award amendments and supporting documentation
    • Support grant closeout activities
    • Provide guidance to stakeholders on post-award requirements


    Compliance, Policy & Process Support

    • Support analysis of policies, procedures, and regulations
    • Review documentation for compliance with NOFOs and Federal requirements
    • Assist in developing SOPs, templates, and training materials
    • Maintain trackers, databases, and reports to ensure accuracy


    Team Support & Flexibility

    • Provide cross-functional support across pre-award and post-award activities based on workload needs
    • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliverables




Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Federal grants and/or acquisition experience
  • Experience across the grants lifecycle (pre-award, post-award, closeout)
  • Knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance)
  • Experience with application review, budget analysis, and compliance activities
  • Experience working with grants systems (e.g., PRISM, GrantSolutions, FMIS, USAspending)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting competitive grant programs within Federal agencies
  • Experience developing or supporting SOPs, templates, or training materials
  • Experience analyzing or supporting policy and procedural updates
  • Ability to provide guidance or technical assistance to stakeholders
  • Experience working with multiple grants systems


Security & Eligibility Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust (suitability) clearance
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (no visa sponsorship available)
