Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As a Manager, Digital Marketing at RBC's US Global Asset Management (GAM) business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence and driving our online marketing strategy. Working as part of a dynamic digital marketing team, you will support the Director of Digital Marketing to ensure our websites are updated, optimizing for search visibility, and enhance our user experience. This is a hands-on collaborative role working with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver measurable results that support our business objectives and strengthens GAM's market position.

What will you do?

Website management & Governance

  • Work with stakeholders and support the Digital Marketing Director to implement strategic objectives for the US website
  • Responsible for supporting the maintenance and governance of US websites
  • Ensure campaign marketing alignment to regional requirements and fund distributions
  • Ensure websites are fit for purpose; maintain a robust, compliant, and user-friendly websites that support business goals by delivering relevant content, seamless navigation, and a consistent brand experience across all user types
  • Review website's functionality in collaboration with GAM digital to improve client journeys and experience
  • Conduct audits and UX testing in conjunction with GAM digital to identify pain points and optimize key user journeys that improve engagement, reduce drop-offs, and drive conversions

SEO & Search

  • Support the building and maintenance of SEO strategies that improve website visibility
  • Support the Digital Marketing Director with implementing and regularly updating SEO strategy including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to improve organic search rankings, increase traffic, and boost visibility in priority markets
  • Ensure all marketing campaigns follow company policy and data privacy regulations
  • Collaborate with vendors and teams to solve issues and ensure a seamless operation
  • Maintain compliance with financial services marketing requirements

Analytics

  • Utilize analytic tools and dashboards to provide regular insights and reporting
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators across website, organic search, and paid search
  • Identify trends and communicate campaign success metrics to stakeholders
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing performance

Subject Matter Expert

  • Stay informed about emerging digital marketing trends, particularly in SEO and AEO
  • Evaluate new technologies and provide strategic input on digital innovations
  • Share knowledge and best practices across the organization

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage and work to a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns
  • Hands on experience website management and SEO
  • Strong working knowledge of content management systems (dotCMS preferable) and HTML
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and data interpretation
  • Knowledge of the LinkedIn ad platform

Nice-to-have

  • Prior financial services experience
  • An excellent eye for detail and good proof-reading skills
  • A working understanding of marketing related regulatory and compliance frameworks

The expected salary range for this particular position is $77,000-$143,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
