Strategic Account Manager (SAM)

Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
Travel: Up to 50% within assigned territory

Work Environment: Field-based role

As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll operate as a trusted advisor and growth partner to your customers-helping them expand their programs, improve performance, and ultimately reach more patients.

You'll combine consultative selling, business strategy, and relationship management to unlock growth within existing accounts and deliver measurable impact.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive utilization, performance, and revenue growth across your territory
  • Lead strategic business reviews that uncover opportunities and influence customer direction
  • Partner with practices to implement patient growth, marketing, and operational strategies
  • Deliver hands-on training and ongoing support, becoming a go-to resource for your accounts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical, Reimbursement, and Support teams to remove barriers and accelerate growth
  • Leverage data and insights to identify trends, optimize performance, and guide decision-making
  • Build and maintain high-value, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Operate with a strong commitment to compliance, integrity, and excellence

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for early or emerging talent with a sales mindset and a strong drive for growth. As part of our talent pipeline, advancement opportunities may require relocation in the future.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Sales, Marketing, or related field)
  • 3+ years of medical device, life sciences, or healthcare sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of growing accounts, driving utilization, and exceeding targets
  • Experience engaging with physician practices or hospital systems
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to own your business, manage competing priorities, and deliver results independently
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Exposure to biotech or pharmaceutical environments, including Buy & Bill models.
  • Familiarity with clinical specialties such as psychiatry, neurology, dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, or oncology.
  • Interest in supporting new program launches in healthcare settings.

Benefits Statement: Selected candidate will be eligible to participate in the Company's employee benefit plans, which currently include: health insurance; dental insurance; vision insurance; optional supplemental medical insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; company-paid life insurance and additional voluntary life insurance; company-paid short term disability and long term disability insurance; participation in a 401(k) savings and investment plan with company contribution; and paid time off for non-exempt salaried employees is calculated as .625 per pay period worked for vacation time and .29166 per pay period for personal time. Full-time exempt employees will be eligible for Flex-PTO, which allows time off without accrual. If applicable and required under state law, the successful candidate will also be eligible for paid sick leave. These benefits are subject to plan terms, company policies and are subject to change.
