Warehouse Technician

Position: Warehouse Technician

Location: Irvine, CA (onsite 92614)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Pay: $20-$22 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Ship, receive, and deliver computer equipment.
• Prepare shipping paperwork according to process.
• Operate pallet jack and manual lift stacker to load and unload carrier trucks.
• Perform shipping and receiving related inventory control transactions while maintaining inventory control records.
• Promote a safe work environment and assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Requirements:

• Six months' experience in warehouse/supply chain/logistics.
• Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure components.
• Exhibit effective proactive communication and proven attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy.
• Display solid organizational skills.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Adaptable to change while performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Must be able to move around a large warehouse for 8 or more hours in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to support frequent standing, walking, working at heights and must be able to repetitively lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
• Adaptability to perform repetitive work or to perform continuously the same work, according to set procedures or pace.
• Ability to learn and use a variety of software programs required for successful job performance.
• Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment with experience solving problems both independently and within the team
