As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support a professional environment through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while bringing integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, document daily activity and incident information, and report concerns to site leadership in accordance with post orders.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with crowd and/or traffic direction when needed, and follow Allied Universal protocols and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
