Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel regarding access issues, policy questions, and/or security-related matters that arise during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
