Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, credential verification, and visitor management activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and document unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or access-related incidents in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Support badge and credential control by checking identification, processing visitor requests, maintaining access logs, and following post orders for restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned lobbies, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify access concerns, equipment issues, and/or unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
