We are hiring a Recruiter to join Fortrea's North American Talent Acquisition Team! This role will be hybrid working in the Durham, NC office at least 2 days per week.

Job Overview:

The Recruiter will partner closely with the business and/or line manager to build effective sourcing approaches by identifying the availability of talent across critical talent segments. The Recruiter will use the most effective candidate attraction strategies and messages to reach different candidate segments to source the best candidates in the market and build a talent pipeline for the growing needs of the business. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is proactive and can relate to individuals at all levels. Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills are imperative.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    • To source, recruit and select the right talent to build a highly qualified diverse workforce.
    • Ensure system compliance on the applicant tracking system: Move candidates real-time in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for the relevant position.
    • Compile talent intelligence: profile competitors and build organization charts.
    • Timely maintenance of interview and pre-offer documents on ATS.
    • Ensure offers made are in line with internal parity and timely maintenance of checklist prior to offer closure on system.
    • Maintain a database of active and passive candidates across positions.
    • Maintain healthy hiring ratio for Hiring Manager from resume screening to selection.
    • Drive established process for hiring external/internal applicants into new roles (create and post jobs, review resumes, recommend internal offers, ensures all pre-employment screening is completed).
    • Orientation of supervisors and employees with respect to recruiting procedures, effective interviewing skills, and applicable laws.
    • Improve visibility of open positions to candidates and work with team on creating an effective recruitment strategy.
    • Ensure all interactions with internal and external stakeholders are focused on stakeholder and candidate experience.
    • Deliver a seamless and consistent applicant and hiring manager experience from req creation to the new hire's first day.
    • Measure and improve channel effectiveness, fine-tuning messaging and increasing ROI over time.
    • Work closely with the employer branding team on shaping the local external market/ internal organization and ensure candidate care/experience.
    • Suggest and implement process improvement initiatives.
    • Develop targeted recruitment strategies basis experience, data and metrics available.
    • All other duties as needed or assigned.

    Qualifications (Minimum Required):

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
    • Proven knowledge of human resources, recruiting, or scheduling functions.

    Preferred Qualifications Include:

    • Experience in sourcing, talent intelligence, networking and building talent pipelines.
    • Demonstrated experience using effective channels and messages to find targeted sources of high-quality candidates, especially passive candidates.
    • Proven lead generation and qualification, employing varied techniques (both virtual and not), demonstrating creativity, resourcefulness, and tenacity.
    • Track record of identifying and building relationships with prospective talent in anticipation of future talent needs.
    • Experience using a metric-driven approach to developing, tracking, and running talent pipeline.
    • Experience completing competitive analysis (talent intelligence, EVP analysis, mapping) to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors
    • Knowledge of skills and abilities required for different roles in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
    • Knowledge of Human Resources practices, local laws and regulations.

    Physical Demands/Work Environment:

    • Needs to be flexible with working hours and work overtime as needed.
    • May travel on occasion.

    Pay Range:$45,000-$50,000

    Office/Home-Based:

    Work Environment:

    • Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.

    • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

    • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

    • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

    • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

    • Regular and consistent attendance.

    • Varied hours may be required.
